Don't worry about the wording. A photograph of the wall, the make and size of the screen, and a sentence about how you live in the room is enough. A real person reads it; the reply lands within a working day with a fixed figure and the next open sitting.

Four short lines.

The shortest form we could make and still write back with something useful. Anything else, we ask in the reply, only if it matters.

Usually answered within the hour during studio time.

We use your note to write back about your install. Nothing else. No newsletter. No list. No sharing.

No automated chain. A real person reads, writes back, offers a fixed figure and the next two open sittings. That is the entire loop.

A real read.

One of the three of us reads your note. If something is missing for the quote — an angle, a measurement, the model number — we ask, before we figure.

Same day ii

A written reply.

A fixed figure, what is included, the next two open sittings, and a short sentence about anything we noticed in the photograph that might shape the placement.

When you choose iii

You pick a morning.

Reply with the sitting that suits you. We confirm by return and hold it. Nothing else is needed from you until the morning of.

Morning of iv

A small message.

A short note from the installer who will arrive, with a 90-minute window and a "leaving the van now" message at the start. No four-hour mystery.

Chapter · vii · Where the van goes

A studio's
reach is small,
on purpose.

We work across the city we live in and one ring of suburbs around it. Beyond that, we would be driving more than installing, and that is not what either of us want. If you are further out, write to us anyway — we usually know an installer in your area we would send our own family to.

On weekends.

Saturday sittings are held for installs that genuinely cannot be done midweek. Two installers, four sittings — that is the whole Saturday. Booking ahead by a week or two is the easiest way in.

Sunday and Monday are closed on purpose. We have never met an install that could not wait until Tuesday morning.
